Just a heads up that the deadline is tonight <3
I originally started this a couple of months ago, but then real life attacked so the deadline slipped. So, here's another go - thank you to all the people who already noted me, and get going to everyone else if you'd like to participate
I'm really going to get it done this time, honest! 
3D - The Journey
Two years ago I put together the Beginnings in 3D news article, and I thought it would be fun to do something like that again
The idea is that we can look back and see the progress we've made over the years, and how far we have come as artists. Those of us who participated last time around can see if we've made any progress in the last 2 years 
Also, it should serve as inspiration to new artists - everyone has something to learn 
So, how to participate?
- Upload an old piece to your scraps or pick a really old deviation from your gallery. You can also, if you've been doing 3D for a long time, choose one intermediate piece as well.
- Or you can put together a set of images documenting your progress through the years, like this example by `Fredy3D from last time
- Then, choose a recent piece from your gallery; it doesn't have to be your newest, but it does have to be something you're proud of
- Finally, send me a note titled 3DJourney (hint: if you use that link, the subject is filled in for you) with links to your old, optional intermediate, and new piece. Or you can comment on this journal with the links.
Please note: 3D art only and the deadline for entries is now: Sunday, 13th December (end of the day, Pacific US time). Suggest a 3D DD
You can suggest anything to me, as long as:
The deviation is a digital 3D image, in the Digital > 3D Gallery The artist hasn't received one in the last 3 months You may suggest yourself.Please send me a note titled "DD Suggestion", and put your suggestion in as a thumb (copy the :thumb123456: code from the side of the artist's description).
It's not compulsory, but I'd really appreciate an explanation of why you think the piece is DD worthy.

I improved one of my 3d-characters over the last 3-4 weeks reflecting and reacting of so many comments and feedbacks of the great people here on DA. I did an image showing the progress of that "evolution".
