...and I miss old journals. I don't think writing this will bring them back, but yeah. I think I wanted, if I ever said, "OMG I LOVE THIS JOURNAL I WISH I COULD FAV IT" that I wished I could *heart* it like I did with news and it would show up in that same area, or a similar area, not mixed in with art. Art is what I'm here for. I miss seeing the 'daily literature deviations' on the bottom of the site. I miss knowing that if I took time to get a feature together, like I used to when I was a GM and before, I would be able to get it seen across the site if I put some effort into publicising it, and the artists in the feature would benefit.
I also miss being able to get to someone's whole journal they have written with ease. I actually read one of the journals in the footer this morning, and thought, ooh, I'd like to read this person's previous journal... but there was no obvious link to it. I miss knowing that my journal boxes will appear next to what I'm typing when you read this.
In other news, 18535 words in my nano novel. I can't begin to describe how much editing will be needed to transform it into something halfway readable. CAN'T BEGIN.
In other other news, I am going to a wedding tomorrow. ~Demoncherry's in fact! EXCITE.

It's like regular Art Theft, but pretentious.
I don't think it's an either/or thing, but yeah. Bleh. >_>
And in order to see your other journals, I have to click your name and then the journal tab, instead of just seeing the journal list on the sidebar where it belongs? Irritating. And, like you say, putting a description of a journal is stupid. If someone hasn't gotten the gist from the headline and, you know, the journal, a description isn't going to help them.
18000.... How many pages is that, if I may ask?..
The only ones liking this new system is DA, no one else
