Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

You can read all about the challenge here: [link] The theme was Global Land and Era - Must be set in a General Time and Place, does not need to be exact. We are looking for the feel of the Land and the era, rather than the specific exact year and town.
Examples: 17th Century France, Shang Dynasty China 1,500 bc, Victorian England 19th Century etc.

I have a contest I'm holding on my stock site =WDWParksGal-Stock if you would like to add it to the contest list. It is a three-tier contest (read more on the profile page):

The first tier will be to make a new stock from any of my stock. There are some deviants who allow free use of their stock, like *lisaolson9293, which may be used to add to my stock to make stock. You can just add brush effects and filters to alter a stock piece. Use your own stock and take a piece of my stock and make a new stock piece for your site. I have written several brush providers to verify they allow unlimited use of their brushes with no restrictions. When downloading a brush, check the rules. If the rules say "permission needed" or "notify me if used" then those can be passed on by. I use many brush providers including, but not exclusive to, ~redheadstock *Wearwolfaa ~LoRdaNdRe ~rL-Brushes =teddybearcholla and others.

The Second tier will be to make a manipulation using at least two pieces of my stock.

The Third tier will be to do any dang thing you want to, as long as it is based on or uses a piece of my stock. Could be a poem, prose, drawing, photograph, icon, avatar, stamp, ID.... anything that does not fit in the top two tiers.
