I'm not an insects person. I mainly find them creepy. I've never attempted to photograph one before properly. But this was for my mum ^^ it was in her garden.

Edted to add: I think this is a Harlequin Ladybird/bug, Harmonia axyridis spectabilis. In which case the title becomes even more appropriate because they are not native to the UK and are out-competing our native species.
